New member here. Hoping someone can help with my ABS problem. My 1999 Park Ave threw a rod and my brother swapped out the engine for a salvaged one, which seems to be running well so far. However, now my ABS light is on all the time, which was never the case before. We needed to remove the exhaust in order to get the engine out but we didn''t mess with any wireing. Also, I do know that the battery ran down and it was put on a battery charger to get the new engine started. I''ve read that the high voltage can do a number on the ABS system. I''ve checked the 10A abs fuse under the dash and it is not blown. Since we couldn''t figure it out right now it''s in the shop and after "diasnosing" they want to throw a new abs module at the problem because they couldn''t find any other problem. Not cheap. Is there something I''m missing before I spend the $700 on this? Thanks.
