You do nice work and the effort will certainly pay off.

REMINDER; When you choose the "HEET" make sure you choose the one that uses Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and not Methanol.

This whole saga reminds me of a particular incident where I had a vehicle towed in and confirmed the customer evidently purchased a load of water.
When I stated the problem he asked if I could just add a lot of "dry gas". All I said was , I can fix it , but I can't make gasoline out of water

Hanky, why not Methanol? Just curious.

The catalytic converter doesn't like Methanol , so we don't push it .

Changed all the gas and filter. Drove it considerable distance to assure clean gas reached the engine. Unfortunately, the same symptoms persist, rough idle, accelleration and stalling. Looks like that eliminates the gas, and I'm now at a loss. Any ideas?

Lost my post but https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_gas. You still may have had some overly contaminated fuel maybe in sump or low point in tank that couldn’t be reached? Water injection’s been around awhile but can’t be mixed directly with fuel. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wate...ction_(engine)

I’d say if you can keep it going for a few more miles, may clear up and also if trouble wasn’t there before getting gas?

Smile SOLVED - Wasn't Bad Gas...

Took it to a garage and the problem was a bad "Mass Airflow Sensor."

Thanks for the update.

That is why it is so important to use a scan tool to check module health and various parameters to make sure all are within reasonable ranges.
We can only go by what info we receive and many times the real problem gets overlooked. Glad you got it taken care of.
