I have a 95 park ave, found out that there is a bad air pleminum (my spelling notis notsogreat) but its the black dome piece top of you engine, anyway at the front where your throutle body connects, under that there is a pipe that sticks up into the air pleminum which heat the throutle body with your cooling system to warm the intake air up, the problem is if you let you coolant get low the ports are so close to the stand pipe, (we will call it, it will burn through you air pleminum wall and leak coolant into the top of your valves looking like a head gasket leak and in my case. cause what your describining, it cost about 199- 300 depending were you buy it, but do not uses a junk yard one as they a warpped fromn age, only go new, hopped this helped or feel free to emainl me. idk what u are talkin about. but then again if u dont either, then i am i supposed to. i think ur tryin to describe the egr. that has nothing to do with heatinh intake air. the egr takes oxides of nitrogen from the exhaust and sends it back into the intake to burn. which actually lowers combustion temperature, atomizes fuel better, which improves fuel economy, and for all u greenies, it also reduses harmful emissions.

ohh and yeah that was a terrible design those engineers made. the exhaust gas sent thru an aluminum tube into a PLASTIC intake??? why???
how many melted the intake? countless.

Default Always the coil and or rusted spark plug wire

I’ve worked on dozens of these and have owned 2 Ultra‘s and it’s a recurring problem to have a rusted out spark plug end at the coil
