have a 1989 Century, 3.3l that makes a kind of rubbing or grinding noise when taking corners, my guess is the wheel bearing needs replaced (front right side). Is this a complicated procedure? Can it be done without affecting the brakes?

thanks

Not real familiar with your car, but if it's rear wheel drive, it is an easy procedure, but not one that a novice should try because some steps are critical. If it's front wheel drive, it's probably beyond most non-professionals.

Not sure what you mean by "affecting the brakes". You would have to remove the calipers, but probably not get into the hydraulics.
