Default Century Belt Tensioner Idler Bolt

I have a 2002 Century; I've removed the belt tensioner assembly to replace its idler pulley. I believe I have seen somewhere that the idler pulley bolt is left handed thread. I don't want to strip by turning the wrong way. Can anyone confirm?

If you are able to get the tensioner arm locked in a vise just try to move it in either direction with a breaker bar and socket. One way it will move and the other direction it won't. I wouldn't worry about stripping it.

Thanks Hanky, I put it in the vice, it was really tight. It's a right hand thread.
Thanks again. Chuck
