i have a 67 buick special deluxe that dosent want to run.it has the 300ci with the 2 barrel carb.all stock. the car stoped runing one day cause the carb craped out. fixed the carb but now no spark. checked for spark up to the coil and power is going in but not out.that would lead me to belive the coils bad but its new and never ran on the car. could the coil just go out like that with out even starting the car? help would be great

 

ur coil needs a spark reference. if u have the original dist setup then it has points and condenser. now those type of distributors are not a strong point of mine but im pretty sure u need change the points.
