1939 Buick - Inline 8cyl

Does anyone know where I can find out the original paint code for this engine.

Apparently it''s called "gray" but it is actually a bluish color.

Any help would be great!

let me make a few calls. my buddy owns a paint shop

 

first suggestion would be to go to auto zone, they have a "paint scanner" that they just point at your car and it tells the mixture.

the scanner is portable so they can bring it to your house.

im having my buddy look up the factory Grey for ya. but he doesn''t know if his book goes back that far on his computer.
