Default Optispark and water

Has anyone here had any experience with flooded streets? I ask because I live on a dead end street and flooding has become an issue. We had 36 inches of rain in 3 weeks and since there is only one way in and out, well...you see the problem. Not going to work is not really an option. The water usually doesn't get over 2 feet deep and the other day I had no choice but to plow through it. Yes, I have a lot of experience going through water and know how to do it. My concern is the optispark, is it particularly vulnerable? Should I just go buy a Jeep?
