I just inherited my father-in-laws 1948 Buick Roadmaster Series 70. I have a lot to research and find out about the car. Trying to get as much information as possible on original parts, paint, carb, engine, etc…
Thought that I’d start with rebuilding the carb. Doing a lot of the research on ChatGPT, which seems to be really helpful so far. Thought I’d join this forum to hopefully talk with some of the guys that have worked on these classic cars for years.
Any idea what paint code 824 tells us? Car was manufactured in Flint, Mich. Style No 4769, Body No C-3140, Trim No 76, Carter WCD Carb (still gotta figure out the tag number so that I can order the rebuild kit. Any tips on rebuilding the Carb?
