My 2006 Rendezvous Driver Seat Manual Lever to recline the is broken and it does not feel like it is connected to anything when I pull it. Is this a common problem with the Rendezvous?

The electric seat controls are working correctly only the manual lever that you pull up on is broken.

 

I was having the same issue but i took mine apart and found that this metal ring with a tooth to grab the bar was turning in the plastic handle. I just drilled a small self tapping screw through the other side of the tooth and vuala keeps the metal from freely moving. (make sure the screw goes through the plastic handle)
