Default P0102 and P0405 check engine codes

i have a 99 buick regal 3.8 im trying to get inspected for my family and having nothing but problems, it was sputtering here and there i was told so i threw it on my scanner and got the 405 code, so i replaced the egr and it now runs perfect, while installing the new egr i also cleaned the maf, replaced the pcv, checked all vac lines, etc..., and it had a air filter and oil change bought a month ago, so took it to get it inspected again and now im getting the 102 code, now i just cleaned the maf and i know the wires are not broken and im sure it wouldn't fail overnight, so is there any other problems or things that can throw or cause this code, like failing intake gaskets, cuz i know thats common with the 3.8 ones, i just dont think my wallet will like me dropping like 145 for one at advance auto if thats not what is wrong

Usually when we get multiple codes indicating low signals a poor connection is usually involved. A good place to start would be to check all the ground and battery connections to make sure they are clean and making good contact. The systems operate on such low voltages that the slightest poor connection will cause problems since incorrect voltages could give incorrect signals from various sensors.A thorough check is in order starting with the battery cables which supply the other systems of the vehicle.
