2003 Regal; 32,000 miles. Never had problems with A/C before. This
morning A/C blew hot air only; seemed that the vent was extra hot too
(about 70 degrees outside). When getting to work 25 minutes later, I
shut off the car, started it again and the A/C worked just fine. What
was the problem; fuse ?? Should I be worried?

 

Well, it can't be a fuse if you didn't replace one.


Could be a number of things. Is there a chance that somehow it was switched to "vent"?

No, I tried all of the settings, including vent, and hot air blew out
for the vent setting alone, and all of the air-conditioning settings.
I'll try it again after work and if it goes off again, take it to a
mechanic.
