Daughters 93 Regal GS, 3.8.
Was running fine & starts quickly.
She went to leave church the other day & cranked a few seconds, let off, retried & it cranked a few seconds before it started. Seemed to run normally at that point. Drove three blocks down the road to a traffic signal. She stopped & it died & would not restart. I tried several times & nothing. Had half a tank of fuel. The next morning I spun it a few times & it caught & started. Drove it 3 blocks to where she was & it died. Restarted after spinning over for a few seconds & took her down to where I had left my truck. Just before we got there it died & I coasted it to where it was originally. Has not started since. Can hear fuel pump energize & run for about 3 seconds & then shut off. Changed fuel filter. It was full of crud so I was hopeful, but that wasn't it. Pulled a plug & plug was dry. Checked spark (put wire back on plug & had daughter crank it while I held plug to exhaust manifold) & no spark...
She doesn't have a lot of money to spend & I don't have a lot to help with.
Where to start? ECM? ICM?


There is a running local 93 Park Avenue with a supercharged 3.8 they are parting out. Will the ECM & ICM interchange if I change out the chip in it?

I just posted similar issues with ours. Happens on a daily basis and cannot figure it out for anything! No one has responded to me, so maybe someone will respond to you.
