Exclamation 2002 buick regal trouble

I was hearing the power steering whinning a few weeks ago, and now when making right hand turns it is making a geary growning sound.

I'm thinking the sound has to do with the drive shaft going to the drivers side front wheel.

I also notised there is no where marked to put steering fluid into.

please help.

There should be a power steering pump reservoir somewhere. It might be under the plastic cover.

So aside from the power steering groaning, the geary noise is all because of the powersteering fluid?

What type of power steering fluid should I use in my 2002 buick regal?

Just about every manufacturer has it's own specification for P/S fluid and they even vary from year to year. Your best bet is to check your owner's manual for the correct fluid .

Yep depends on the car. My Subaru power steering took the same $9 ATF-HP tranny fluid that my trans runs on. Most the quickly lube use some random unknown bulk trans fluid. Doesn't help the generic GM top says used only approved fluids. Haynes book says GM power steering fluid or equivalent.
