As a service manager at a local repair shop I ran into the same FIASCO... Outrageous pricing for the parts and an explicit explanation that once you bought the part there was a no return policy.... you bite the bullet..


There were a couple of people who suggested a rebuilder and they also offered a NO GUARANTEE POLICY.


We never did fix the car. Customer drove it without the abs working.


Cant offer any help as far as correcting the problem. GM did a real good one there. I spent weeks trying to track something down without any results.

Thanks - I thought I was the only one who ever had or heard of this problem. I have had countless people think they must be able to fix it and then run into the same deadend - no fix - no solution.
