Hello Buick Brains, Ive been a pontiac/olds guy up to now. Just picked up a 63 special..maybe skylark rag.
It's been butchered at the rear quarter wheel openings...not from rust, but as if someone was opening it up for big tires. I can fab a new lip, but the true original shape is gone. I've looked around at year one, classic industries etc, for patches but come up short.
1. Are there any sources for aftermarket wheel openings or am I limited to bone yards?
2. Is the rear wheel opening on a 63 unique to the buick? I have a 62 and 63 olds f85 i could use as a template...if theres a match
3. Anyone out there have or know of a parts car I could pull quarters from or chop what I need?
I'll build a list of parts needed...from the quick inspection, I'll be looking for interior parts..specifically, rear seat and side panels (ragtop)
