This 1940 Buick 90 Series was once the canvas for a dream envisioned by my dad who, unfortunately, finds himself limited by the passage of time. The dream? To transform this classic into a sleek street rod, powered by a modern tune port engine. The foundation has been laid, and the potential is boundless. -1978 or 79 Firebird Front Subframe & rear end -1989 TPI GM 350CI L98 V-8 225HP Motor #v0726 awk -Painless wire Harness for TPI injections GM 350 w/ecu - Auto meter gauges - Custom Headers stainless exhaust - Original Interior in very good condition - All glass is good except driver's door has crack - Trim pieces, bumpers and many, many more parts - Rear end is in place and tack welded. Final welding was waiting on wheels and tires to verify correct stance and the wheels be centered in the wheel openings. - Drive shaft will need to be measured and lengthened - Tank has been cleaned, filler neck has been re-welded. Fuel sump needs fabrication as well as fuel return. Autometer fuel gauge sending unit can be bolted right in. - Headers are finished but need gaskets. - Exhaust is finished up to the rear axle. Holes in the frame are cut for the exhaust to pass through but need to be cleaned up. - Brakes - pedal assembly, master cylinder, brake booster, and proportioning valve are finished. Front brake lines are finished. Rear brake lines are partially finished. - Body - all rust repair has been done with the exception of two areas the lower section in front of the driver's door and the left rear section of the drip rail.
