I've a soft spot for sad horror stories but unfortunately, I've only experienced those in games. So, I'm looking for a movie that doesn't really have to be overly scary (let's admit it, hardly any movie is scary) but has a really, like reeeaaallly good story.

Any recs?

PS the movie shouldn't be too old.

 

I can recommend an old one.. its very creepy.. Silence of the lambs. Among new ones, creepy horror:Zodiac and The Night Crawler. General horror: The conjuring.
