Hello, I have been browsing the forum for a while and thought I'd make it official. I've owned several Buicks in the past, and you can't beat the comfort of a Buick. What brings me to join is my newly acquired 1973 Century Luxus Coupe. Thought I'd join and share the restoration process. Looking forward to picking up some knowledge.
I tried to embed the pics in this post, but I'm still new to this. Here is a link to the album on photobucket.

Thanks fellas. It belonged to my grandfather. She only has 50k miles on her, still purrs like a kitten. He bought it new in 73 and took great care of it. I still have all of the original paperwork and owners manual. I charged up the air conditioner today and it blew ice cold. It has been in my uncles garage since 2006 when my grandfather passed.
It doesn't need much restoration, maybe 3 or 4 hours of body work. I can't decide on what color to go with. I'm going to keep the white top, it was just replaced 10 or so years ago and is in great condition. I've been kicking around the idea of black to go with thee black and white interior. A far as wheels, I was thinking 17" Torque Thrusts in a chrome finish.
