Greetings from Mid-Missouri! I own a 1996 Regal Custom 3.1L, and this is by far the best car I have ever owned. I bought the car in 2001 with 147,000 miles. I know this was a gamble, but the car now has 227,000 and other than an exhaust leak it is still running smooth. I also own a 1997 Taurus V6 3.0 with only 130,000. Thinking the engines would be similar in power and mileage, I was shocked when my Regal proved to have better take off and power, even with 100K more miles. This car is definitely a warrior!

You think that is nice. If you ever get a chance, buy a 1998 Riviera. I've owned 7 Buicks in my 28 years, and the 98 Riviera is by far the most comfortable, stylish, and straight off the line power car I have ever owned. The 3.8L supercharged motor is awesome, and if Buick wakes and releases the 400 HP 6 speed rear wheel drive Velite convertable, then all you wlll ee on the road are Buicks
