Default new here, just not to Buicks

I love most cars pre 74...
being in my 40s, Ive owned alot of cars
Some memorable Buicks have been a 90 Reatta
and 91 Reatta conv, most recently a 68 GS400 conv.
and just the other day I picked up a 69 Riv.
Have always wanted one. Best thing is, this car has just
over 10k original miles. Interesting story behind it some too.
Thing is I have a rather large
car collection already, so I usually buy them, fix them up
a little and then sell them so other people can also enjoy
them. I also enjoy sort of saving these cars from being crushed.
Im in Az so 99% of the cars I buy are all rust free examples, with
most always needing interior work and paint.
The guy I just bought this 69 Riv from had another decent parts
car next to it crushed .ugh

first thing I want to try to fix on this are the headlights...
not sure where to start on this set up. Maybe Ill post up a question
in the Riv section

Welcome to the forum! That's a nice Rivi. I love pre 70s cars. So much chrome, and just so much awesome! You should post some pictures of your other rides too

Hi 007,
I have done some work on those. Nice heavy car with every kind of control except birth control.
I believe they had a 340 CID engine . It's been a long time since I saw the decal on the air filter, but I seem to recall the #s. Can you show us some pix when you're done getting her ready? Thanks
