Irecently started driving a 1997 Buick LeSabre Limited that my step dad inherited from his mom.

It just turned 90,000 miles. i believe its around 90,804 right now.

ive noticed the idle getting exponentially rougher and louder. typical GM car.

my moms 96lumina did the same thing.

the transmission is also shifting a little more noticeably.

the car was swiped on the drivers side a few years back, when my grandma was driving it. its very minor. we just replaced the wheel and put a new drivers side mirror on it. and i think some new front struts. yet theres still a vibration on the highway.

has anyone else experienced the idle and transmission symptoms?

you need to keep a close eye on the coolant. does the car magically go through it for no reason?

vibration is most commonly wheel bearings. (assuming you checked the obvious first, wheel balancing)
