Battery

I'm surprised they don't list it. Sometimes they put GM's together so you have to look under "G" instead of "B".
Try Walmart; I know they list them. Consumer Reports rated their batteries better anyway.

Because the 2001 LeSabre has the battery under the rear seat is listed with some sort of *special* ventilation. I looked at mine and could see little different save a small tube (straw size) with might very well be the vent. WalMart did list the vehicle but did not list a cross-reference to their Max series. I was able to locate one on the AutoZone website which if I remember correctly is an AC Delco part number. The price was not too far out of whack as compared to other batteries that I have purchased at WalMart (+$10 or so) so it is not a big worry.

Ooops, I just checked. It is a "DuraLast" battery. Gold series with 8yr warranty. Currently listed at $130. More than the $85 truck battery at WalMart, but I believe the WalMart warranty tops out at 4 years.
