I'm surprised they don't list it. Sometimes they put GM's together so you have to look under "G" instead of "B".

Try Walmart; I know they list them. Consumer Reports rated their batteries better anyway.

Because the 2001 LeSabre has the battery under the rear seat is listed with some sort of *special* ventilation. I looked at mine and could see little different save a small tube (straw size) with might very well be the vent. WalMart did list the vehicle but did not list a cross-reference to their Max series. I was able to locate one on the AutoZone website which if I remember correctly is an AC Delco part number. The price was not too far out of whack as compared to other batteries that I have purchased at WalMart (+$10 or so) so it is not a big worry.

Ooops, I just checked. It is a "DuraLast" battery. Gold series with 8yr warranty. Currently listed at $130. More than the $85 truck battery at WalMart, but I believe the WalMart warranty tops out at 4 years.

The Buick LaCrosse received the lowest number of problems per 100 vehicles among midsize cars in the proprietary J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study SM. Study based on 46,313 consumer responses measuring problems consumers experienced in the past 12 months with three-year old vehicles (2006 model-year cars and trucks). Proprietary study results are based on experiences and perceptions of consumers surveyed October - December 2008. Your experiences may vary. Visit jdpower.com.
