2009 will not start when cold
3.9 When its 30 out or lower it will not start. Turns over strong. not battery. Sometimes it will after several attempts and giving it a little gas. Sometimes it wont. The motor feels and sounds like its shaking bad for a second then runs normal. So the fuel pressure was low when this happens. I replaced the relay and fuses that is a common issue even though mine didnt look burnt. I replaced the canister purge valve which I heard is also an issue with the lucerne. Compression test was fine, all plugs get spark. One spark seemed a little wet another a little dry. I ran fuel injector cleaner through it. Once started seems to run fine. smells like it may run a little rich though. No error codes. Had people say they havent heard of a fuel pump not working from being cold (unless frozen water gets in it but fuel is fine) only from being hot. and it works fine once started? I would just go ahead and replace pump anyway but with the cost I would like to try to diagnose before doing that. I also read on here to try to test the maf sensor and ICM? I took it to a shop and they couldnt figure it out. They wanted to take it apart and check injectors. They wanted more than the car cost me to do all that. Can Injectors be clogged even though it runs great when it can start? I really cannot afford a new car
