Hi,
I was trying to help my parents with their 98 LeSabre and an intermittent window switch problem. The passenger window is all the way up and would not come down by either switch. I removed the door panel and pulled thewindow motor; the motor will spin upvia bothswitches but only down intermittently using thedriver's side and not at all with the passenger side. I swapped the wires to the motor and the passenger side up will spin it in the opposite direction. I swapped the relayand that did not change anything. I also tried the rear window switch and that did not change anything, so I'm guessing that it is the driver's side switch. Anyway to test this? Also, do I have to replace the whole switch block for all four windows? Sorry for the long post ... any help is appreciated ... thanks!

I had this happen with both front windows in my Lesabre within a week of each other. Both rear windows still work fine. Just replace the switches of the affected windows on passenger side and switch on master drivers side control
