lately my check engine light has been coming on more often than it used to when i idle in my 89. It always goes back off. but anyways i heard about the paper clip method where you can jump the a and b terminals in the diagnostic port. my question is how do you do that. I have almost no knowledge with electricity lol and i dont want to screw anything up. i already kno about the short/long pauses and how to count em. Also, since the light only comes on briefly during idle does that give any of you guys a red flag as to what sensor it could be. any help appreciated. thx.
