My o5 LeSabre was showing60-70 psi reading on the gage. Then it jumped up to 170 and now shows 130 regularly. Gage says "Normal"

Anyone else experienced this? Sending unit problem? Gage problem? Really high performance oil pump

Probably the sending unit. Mine never changed, even with the engine not running (ignition on). Always said "Normal". Maybe just sludged, but I replaced it and all is fine.
