I was wondering if anyone has the same problem with the paint coming off the heater controls? The up/down temp rocker is loosing it''s black color. Any ideas? I was thinking of replacing it or the whole unit.

what year is it? it could be age and sun light fading it. If you don''t mind it and it still works fine I''d live with it, but thats a personal choice.

 

The car is a Lesabre Limited 2005. Yes it is cosmetic but annoying due to the rest of the interior is very nice. I was thinking of using a black "sharpie" to color it back. Still it would be noticeable. Thanks for your replies.
