Have a '94 LeSabre. The car always starts when cold. However, when I turn on the headlights, the car nearly dies, but usually returns to normal RPMs in a few seconds. Then, the headlights and dashboard lights flicker constantly as long as the headlights are on. The battery and alternator have been checked and are both good. Any suggestions as to what may cause this?

Did you check the frame ground from the battery?

 

Found out it was the voltage reg.
