Default drain battery problems.

Hi for some reason my 95 lesabre custom drain the battery. I used the car for work in after the car is park in my driveway for 2 days the battery is dead I need to jump to start the car, I charge & test the battery at auto zone in say is good, I clean the battery wires & alternator but something still draining the battery. I will check the alternator tomorrow and what else I can check???

If you suspect the alternator, one way to confirm it would be to just disconnect all the wires from the alternator being careful not to let them touch any anything, cover the large wire from the battery so it can't contact any metal, and wait until the next morning. Then put the wires back on and see if the car will start. If it does , then the alternator is the problem. If the battery is dead again , then there is a drain someplace else.

x2 on what hanky said.

Just out of curiosity, how old is the battery?
