The driver's side door mirror started fogging up and then bubbles appeared. The dealer wanted $300 for theglass and $50 to install it. The junk yard price was $135 here Wausau, WI.

What I would like to know is there any way to remove the fog and bubbles?

These heated mirrors have a liquid behind the glass which gets heated by a grid similar to the rear window glass. Apparently air got into the liquidand created this problem.
