Hey, my Grandma has a nice 1985 Buick LeSabre with a 307, 5.0L engine. I was wondering what horsepower that engine has. I have a book, and I looked it up, and it said tht it has 140bhp. I thought bhp was the same as hp (horsepower)...? 140 hp MUST be incorrect. Help. Thanks.

that actually is correct. The camaro with a 305 in the F-Body Era, which is 82-92, only has about 125hp at rear wheels

Sorry this is a little late... But, NO WAY! I had no idea. So, why would thye put a V8 in it if it only puts out 140 bhp? Does it havea lot of torque, or what? 140hp is pretty disgusting for a car its size. How can this be?
