My friend has a car that will not start. It has a known transmission issue. It has been moved around in the yarda couple of times, but a few weeks ago, it would not start. Seems to be getting juice from the battery, but when you turn the key, nothing happens. Where should I start looking? Car has a new battery and alternator.

 

nothing happens at all? like it doesnt try to start at all? is it a stickshift or automatic?

 

If you have an automatic switch it's may be the neutral park switch.

 

It does not do anything, no clicking, no cranking, nothing. I tried shifting between park and neutral with no effect. It is an automatic transmission.
