Trans Fluid and Filter Change
I am very confused as to what I should do, if Anything. I have a 2007 Lacrosse 3.8 Series 3. It just turned 75k. I bought the car 1 1/2 years ago with 35k. I doubt if the trans has ever been serviced. Fluid is light red, no burn smell. Trans shifts great. The only problem is that I get a single clunk going forward or reverse from a dead stop, very random. If I decide to change it, do you recommend flush and filter, or pan drop and filter. What fluid would you recommend? Any help would be appreciated.
