ok. New to the Buick forum but a regular on corvetteforum. My girlfriend's 2007 LaCrosse is proving to be a challenge... I offered to replace the motor oil and filter... where's the darn filter?!!! I've looked high and low, no luck. The owner's manual conveniently does not mention WHERE the filter is... no mention of a filter at all... now, this engine has to have an oil filter. So, any help?

I'm guessing this may be a dealer service item!!?

I just bought an '09 Lacrosse. I've got the 3.8L in mine, and the filter is plainly visible on the right side of the engine. What engine do you have, and did you ever find it?

some of the LaCrosse (Allure in Canada) models have a 3.6L engine... but I know nothing about that engine or if it is based on any of the older generations of GM V-6s.

I have a 2006 LaCrosse with 3.8L as well and as you stated, the filter's on the right side of the engine near front. It's pretty well in plain sight there, can't miss it

2007 Buick Lacrosse make water slushing sound when turning corners?
when turning corners a sound like water slushing around can be heard in 2007 Buick Lacrosse. Took it to oil change shop, and supposedly they filled all the fluids. Any ideas what this sound could be?
