Just curious how much boost you can run an a GN? I was told as long as there is no knock then you are okay, is this true?

well, every engine has its limits...do you have an air to fuel gauge, and an eGt gauge?

Ok, here's what I have: Rebuilt w/ forged pistons, ported/polished intake & heads, 62mm throttle body, 3" exhaust & downpipe, #60 injectors, custom chip, te62 turbo, alcohol injected, K&N, 200R4 w/shift kit & 3400 stall, PTE front mount intercooler, EGT, boost, water temp, & oil pressure gauges. I'm going to install a different downpipe w/ an external wastegate. My boost gauge only goes up to #20, and I have pegged it all the way down to 6 o'colock, which I guess to be about #25, w/ no knock, that I could hear.

Well ive seen guys run them as high as 32+ with alky injection. With a forged bottom end and a fresh motor you should be good. But I suggest you get a boost guage that goes higher though. How are your Exhaust Temps?
