Swap a 4T60 for a 4T65?

I don''t suppose it is feasible to replace the moribund 4T60E-HD (?) in my Park Avenue Ultra 1994 for a newer 4T65 unit from 97-on? Would it fit and would the computer go crazy?
I have a hard time finding a replacement for my tranny, because I live in Sweden and this family of cars are extremely rare. I have been offered a gearbox renovation job for over $3000, but I find that to be a bit sour for my palate when the 4T65E can be found on eBay for $500.
