Runs ruff after replacing battery

94 buick lasabre,everytime I change the battery the motor runs ruff for a few weeks untill it "relearns" itself . Can anyone tell me why or how to reset it faster?

you have to key it so many times for the car to "learn the reason it lost its memory"

it just wants to learn your driving style...

nothing you can really do.
