Red face Radials instead of tubed?

I have a 1950 super series 50 Riviera and would like to run radials on it. I am sure it is best to change rims as well but have no idea what rims today would interchange. Does anyone have any ideas? Also could i run a larger rim then the 15s i have on her now?

Thanks...Len

Nice, just to let you know the post isnt showing up properly on my browser - I think there is a plugin you can grab that takes care of that now.
I want to show my admiration for your generosity in support of people that should have assistance with your question.

I don't think it makes any difference on rims. Radials were designed to fit existing rim sizes. Nobody ever changed rims fo tire transition (any other reason to though). Need to have 4 of either type, don't mix as sidewalls of radials flex too much.

Only big problem I know of was with Chevy, had a 16" and 16 1/2" rim (may stand corrected). BIG problem, 16" rim didn't work well with 16 1/2" tire size. It was something like that, may not be exact. Next post here and cars probably won't have tires even. http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/sh...php?tid/87508/ Refresher, even I couldn't recall......
