I was driving
my grandparent's mid-90s buick today and out of no where in the middle
of driving, the power steerign just decided to stop working. i
checked the power steering fluid, the belt, and the fuse and they were
all fine. anyone know what the problem could be?

How do you mean "stopped working?" Did it get harder to turn? Is it cold where you are?

 

The belt may look fine, but you may want to check the tension. If it is too loose it will not turn the pump enough or at all.

 

and have you checked the fluid? ahs the pump been noisy?
