I bought a 2011 turbo regal ultra clean car with timing chain failure, I already know I need engine replaced. I noticed how difficult it’s been to find a replacement v engine code 2.0, so I bid and won an auction for salvage 2012 yesterday. Picked up today and noticed Brembo brakes and that this is actually a GS model. Looks like this is a 50 hp higher rated engine. Will this swap be okay with 2011 PCM? Is the HP from turbo? Did I find a unicorn? Seems like GS is pretty rare. Brembo calipers show $600 each on rock auto. Heck I got whole thing for $1,050
