Saluti, amicos. I am considering getting a new car and am very interested in a preowned 2005-ish Buick LaCrosse, but I love driving stick and am not sure I want to give it up. How feasible would a manual tranny swap be for a 2004, 05, 06 LaCrosse? How much would it cost, approximately? Could I do it myself?

 

Depends on how you look at it, I did do the printing but not at home........

 

you would have to find a tranny that fit... i cant think of any buicks recently that had a manual transmission. maybe a chevy or pontiac transmission would fit. but you would have to get an adaptor plate to link it to the engine, and i dont know if they make those for your car, so it might have to be custom made. that would most likely get very expensive when all is said and done.
