Could you be a little more specific?
First what code(s) did you get?
When does it misfire, cold, hot , all the time, under load , accelerating, idling?
When were the spark plugs last changed? Did it start after you just bought fuel? All these are important to know to make any kind of worthwhile diagnosis.
Not sure what you mean by EC1.

Did you get any other codes other than the random misfire code?
How many miles are on the odometer ?
When were the spark plugs & wires last changed?
What kind of equipment do you have to work with?
We will need to know what kind of maintenance has been done to the vehicle?
You never answered as to what the code #s were.
Are you planning to do this work yourself or having someone else do it?
There can be many causes for a misfire and more for a random misfire.
