I have this annoying beeping noise coming from my speaker, as if to tell me what is wrong. I drive a 2002 Buick Rendezvous...this also sometimes causes weird things to happen. Like for instance, sometimes, it makes my automatic seat move forward, and sometimes moves my driver mirror. This drives me nuts, and here recently has been beeping so much that it runs my battery down. Any suggestions?

On my Park Avenue, it beeps when the memory (power seat/mirrors) is activated. This can be caused either by pushing the memory button, or by use of a particular key (eg.: "Driver #1"). Maybe this is being triggered inadvertantly.Edited by: MrBSS

Have you checked for any codes?

Could be faulty wiring, or a aftermarket install of something butcher job. I've seen that many times, guys go to get something installed (system, radar detector) and they thrash around under the dash pulling wires, pinching them, stuffing them up more..

Anyways, I'd check for some codes. if they are fruitless then you Ither have a pinched wire or short.. that or you have a ghost in your car.

I think it sounds like you need a new Body control Module BCM You will probably have to take it to the dealer because it has to have the options set and VIN programmed into it with a tech 2 scan tool.
