I have a broken sway bar and looked up on Alldata how to replace it. In general it looks straightforward, but at the top of the page in Alldata they say something about removing the steering intermediate shaft or damage can occur to the steering gear. I think this may be a misprint, because I don't see how replacing the sway bar will affect that. In addition, the step-by-step instructions do not mention the intermediate shaft again. Does anyone have experience with this repair and can confirm whether I need to worry about this shaft? Thanks.
