Default 1996 regal 3.8l tension block bolts

Hi.

I'm new to the forums and new to Buick and have a question. I removed my old tensioner and went to put on a new one and realized that the block bolts have two different sizes. The long one doesn't seem to want to go all the way in on any of the holes and I don't want to mess something up.

So far my new Haynes book is proving worthless in this area and I can't seem to find any instructions that note the differences in the bolt lengths.

Has anyone seen this and will anyone tell me which bolt goes where ?

Thanks

Ok, so I feel dumb. It's been too long of a day.

The alternator mounts up to the tensioner and the longer bolt goes through the alternator bracket.
