1976 Buick Electra 225
Hello, I am new to this forum and I am looking for some help. I am restoring a 1976 Electra 225. The car has 54,000 miles on it and the only metal I am looking for is the rear filler panel in between the rear window and truck lid. It is a 2 door. I am not sure if I should have it made or can I find one, and how do I cut it out. Thank you for help from anybody.

I just did a search for 1989 Buick Electra, and found info about it. The '89 Buick Electra isn't a very common car, but not very rare. So many late '80's cars have already gone to the junkyards, so that's why you don't see so many. And it's doubtful that there will ever be much of a collector's interest in the late '80's Buicks. Look for the Buick Club of America, that's where you will find the most info.

You will make a huge gain in handling performance by installing aftermarket replacement Bilstein shocks. They don't list a shock for the '76 Electra in their aftermarket application guide, but I'd check to see if maybe the Bilstein replacement for the ''65 through '90 Caprice (F4-B46-1104-H) for the front, and (F4-B46-0929-HO) fpr the rear, might work.
