Default New Brake Booster, now no cruise control

Had the brake booster replaced on my 2001 Buick Park Ave a few weeks back, now the cruise control doesn't engage (although cruise control light on the dash comes on when I try to engage). Is there something I can check before the hassle of returning it to the garage?

We all try to help ourselves out when we can, but in this case I wouldn't touch a thing, why ?

Once you touch ANYTHING whether it affected anything or not, you have relieved the shop of any responsibility for their work.
Best to let them know of the problem ASAP, so they can recheck their work. If you wait too long , they will tell you it was due to fail anyway and you will eat the cost of correction.
