yesterday i was involved in an accident and now my door and passenger side finder are totaled, could anyone give me an estimate on the parts, or a rough guess on home much a body shop would charge me to replace paint and put these parts on for me. thanks

also the car hit my wheel and now my steering and turning is messed up and clue on what it could be? i know thats hard to tell

Sorry to tell you, but chances are it will cost more to fix than the car is worth.


My pristine '97 Ultra was hit in the side in front of the driver-side front wheel. Didn't seem that bad; didn'tleak coolant or affect thepower train. Insurance company "totaled" it when estimate went over $4600. I am in the process of getting it fixed, but I'll still be spending about $4,000; and I could probably replace it for that.


If its not driveable, I would suggest you take good pictures and shop. If you get as many parts as possible from a yard ore-bay, and find a shop that needs some work, you might be able to justify it.


However,there are so many good used cars, for so little money these days, that you'll probably be better off replacing it. Sorry!
